Almost every year, I get to spend a few hours setting up my photo gear for different Masses at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis—a sacred space I think is the most beautiful in North America—and I always seem to find a few minutes to walk around the place and capture some images. The images are always striking, because the entire building and its millions of mosaic tiles are imbued with eternal beauty. Here are some recent shots I took in May 2011.
