Saint Paul Outside the Walls

Image of St. Paul Outside-the-Walls. This Church has the feel of the great hall of Moria in Lord of the Rings. You enter in a dimly-lit many-columned area of the back of the Church, then you progress through a few hundred yards of empty space to proceed into the sanctuary area, which contains the tomb of St. Paul. Lining the ceiling are hundreds of portraits of the Church's popes throughout history, and a spotlight shines on the current Pope's portrait (Pope Benedict XVI).
