40 Days for Life – St. Louis
From February 25 - April 5, 2009, St. Louis will join in with many other communities across the country participating in the 40 Days for Life pro-life effort, involving prayer, fasting, vigils, and community outreach. I will be helping in what small ways I can (mostly through prayer!), and I hope that we can strengthen our resolve to pray for a change in the minds and hearts of those who believe abortion to be a societal good, and morally neutral issue.
Please pray tonight and tomorrow morning for all those who have made the journey to Washington, D.C. and will be standing in the ~35°F weather. (I'm not going this year, but I will probably be going next year, since I don't think government-supported abortion will be ended within the next four years—but I still hope and pray that this will be so!).
